Sabah it's an amazing place where you can get to explore the city and nature here.
I've been asking Hubby to bring us to the nature when it's holiday. Finally it's Deepavali Public Holiday today, we went to Taman Tagal Tinopikon. Its just 15 minutes drive from Donggogon Town to experience this beautiful authentic nature village!
We're already amazed by the view when we arrived.
Welcomed by bamboo trees with the nature river sound and hanging bridge. Clean and clear river water and traditional gong music played by the local people.
After paid entrance fees, we choose a hut and eat breakfast. The kids already can't wait to dip in the water!
We choose a spot near the river and settled there.
The water was sooooo cold, but it was really fun!
For safety purpose, we had to use a rope to tie on Kyle's float and attached to our hand because worry if Kyle will float along the river.
We spent almost an hour swim in the river and play with the kids. Then back on the land to picnic. We brought some sandwiches, cookies, fruits, drinks etc to feed our hungry stomach.
On the left side of the river have alot of friendly Pelian (toothless) fishes welcoming you, you can feed them and put your legs in the water. But not allowed to swim at that side. Love the view here!
Another activities provided is hiking. One group with a guide RM20. 10 minutes hike to a small waterfall and another short hike to a slightly bigger waterfall. Along the way, the locals have rubber tree tapping demo and educate about Venus Fly Traps. We didn't join this activity though, because we're tired already.
Local's instrument made by Wood.
Beautiful place isn't?
They also provide local firewood cooked lunch for bigger group but need advanced reservations.
We're going home after 5 hours play at this beautiful place. Definitely coming back again because it's not far at all and it's very fun!
