Hi everyone!
How are you guys holding up during MCO and CMCO?
For us we quiet used to this new norm, actually I quiet enjoy it. Working from home, spending time with family, learnt new skills - baking, cook, private classes for Kyle and spring cleaning! Really appreciate every moments we have with the kids, to see them grow.
So how was my 2nd trimester coming along?
I must say this round a lot of hiccups. And these are what i'm experiencing.
But thank God, all is well now.
Itchiness due to hormone imbalanced
It started when I pregnant, it was just on my legs. As my bump growing, the itchiness is "growing" at the same time too. It wasn't as bad as this, it was just on my legs. But after i took a "S" supplements, it flared up over to my body T__T Maybe that brand just doesn't suits me, but it does helps alot of other people.
So I continued with Forever Living Aloe Vera Gel and Aloe Berry Nectar to help with my hormones. Thank God it does help and I am finally able to sleep through the night. Not until I had prawns and beef for consecutive dinner, the itchiness came back even stronger and I had to see Dermatologist because it does affected me a lot on mood and sleeps.
I've asked in a mommies group too if anyone encounter the same problem, found out it's pretty normal. Many experienced this and it will be gone after give birth.
So far i am feeling better compared with early 2nd trimester. Hopefully it will be gone after give birth.
Gestational Diabetes
After finding out I was pregnant with Baby no.3, I knew I wanted to do my best to have a healthy pregnancy. I wanted to do my part this time around and take care of myself the best I could.
Well, this GDM I've experienced during my 1st pregnancy so it's not a biggie for me.
I control my diet well but sometimes i still take sweet stuff like cakes, rice, banana, grapes etc, in a moderate way.
During my 1st pregnancy, i thought like 世界末日 coz this cannot eat, that cannot eat. haha.
But in a good way is you don't gain much weight, and it is more healthy!
Gestational diabetes goes away after you give birth. But it can affect your baby’s health, and it raises your risk of getting type 2 diabetes later in life. You can take steps so you and your baby stay healthy. Just control your appetite and diet.
Another tips that I can give for GDM mommies is taking the right supplements and monitor every 2 weeks. For me, I drink Aloe Vera Gel + Berry Nectar daily in the morning mixed with warm water.
The portion is 2:1:1. Aloe Vera Gel more than Aloe Berry Nectar because Berry Nectar has sweetness. Why taking Aloe Vera Gel helps balancing and reduce blood glucose level? Read this from News18.com or just Goggle it up to do your own research.
A praise report to share with y'all. Here's my BSP results. It was 8.2 after i take the glucose test, before I start taking Aloe Vera Gel consistently. After the test, I immediately bought few bottles of Aloe Vera Gel and started to take them daily. I find that it not only gives me energy, helps my constipation but also reduce blood sugar levels even though i still take rice, bananas etc.
But why there's 8.4 on 6th July?! Because I had bubble tea drink hahaha, was thinking wanna test if my blood test machine is spoiled. Because I was wondering hmm why I can eat rice, banana, some high calories food but my BSP still under control, so i drank Bubble Tea to test it. So the result is, Aloe Vera Gel does helps. Really no harm trying :)
Gender Revealed
We're expecting a baby girl!
Honestly I do not have any expectations to have a girl anymore, I shared before that I let go and Let God to decides (Read up here). That's when I surrender everything to the Lord. Indeed when you 不强求 and fixed your eyes to God, it happens. 🥰
.
This 2 BONDS Wondersuit I bought it 2 years ago then declared that I will have baby girl 😂 But my 2nd one is boy. I was so disappointed at that time and over the year I wanna sell out this 2 jumpsuit. But I kept it.. And now we get to use it soon ❤️
.
That video on instagram was during my recent review before details scan with Dr. Vijay. Dr. Sutha said maybe is a girl but don't take her word yet because can't really see clearly. But hubby already very excited, as for me I am still in neutral mood 😅 Then on 2nd June, Dr Vijay confirmed is a baby girl. I have so many testimony to share, including baby's name. I guess I will share it next time 🤭

Last but not least, God is good no matter is boy or girl. He's giving us the best gifts 😘
