Taobao is our life! Our life totally changed after we get to know taobao and shopping with them, haha! If you're not in KK, you have no idea how expensive and limited are the stuff in KK. Either it's very nice but super expensive or it's very ugly but still very expensive! We wish there's IKEA here!
Sharing here where do I shop in Taobao for our home. I'm not able to share everything so here's the Top 5.
1. Bed room. Bedding sets, air purifier & digital clock
4pcs Bedding sets: RM170 including postage. 2 pillow case, 1 mattress cover and 1 covet cover. 100% cotton! This is my 3rd bedding set I bought from Taobao, the other 2 are even more comfortable than this because they're made by Japanese "Tianzhu" cotton.
Cloth for pillow case: RM8 for half a meter. I bought a few different pattern so can mix and match. I sent it to a friend who can sew. For 2 long pillow case + 2 standard pillow case + 2 small square pillow case, she charged RM30 only.
Air purifier: RM90 including 3 bottles of essential oil and postage. I bought this because Kyle had a very bad cough last month and some mommies recommend to have air purifier with essential oil. Good quality and the light quiet romantic :)
Digital clock: Hubby bought this so I do not have the link.
2. Wall frames collage decoration
We got this when we first moved in. Decorate this together is a fun thing to do!
RM80 for total of 15 frames in a set. They even provide a huge paper with template for you to nail on the wall, no need to measure the gap one by one. Save the hassle!
3. Lights
Our best buy for our home! We love all of them!
At first we were worry it will break during the shipping, but we decided just give it a shot. I sent message to each of the seller and request them to make extra thick packaging or put a note to warning the forwarder to be careful while moving them.
When we received the lights, it packed in wood boxes with many bubble wrap. All 100% in good condition without a single scratch!
The products are not available anymore but here's the price. It's more than 50% cheaper compared with retail price even after adding the postage fees.
4. Marble Sticker
This is our living room TV console, without TV. Because we don't watch TV at home, haha. RM13 for 1 meter including postage, I bought 3 meters. Easy to stick and take out without leaving any glue on the table. I stick this sticker because the orignal top was only white and easily get dirty. No money to get a real marble table? 5. Shoe Rack
I don't know about you but we couldn't get what we want even after visited a few furniture shops or the supermarket like Servay/ Giant in KK. We just want a simple one.
We bought this 5-tier shoe rack at RM45 including postage.
Yes we are addicted to Taobao! Don't be too quick to write off Taobao as cheap and lousy cos you'll be surprised by the great finds you can get there.
